Last Friday was a proud moment for everyone at LBS as the business celebrated another fantastic achievement at the BMN Awards in London.
This year, LBS was shortlisted in four major categories:
- Training Initiative of the Year
- Equality, Diversity and Belonging Initiative of the Year
- Customer Service Initiative of the Year
- Independent Builders Merchant of the Year
Reaching the final three in all four categories is an achievement in itself, especially given the high number of entries from merchants across the UK. But the highlight of the event came when LBS was announced as Independent Merchant of the Year 2025 — a recognition that reflects the strength, dedication, and consistency of our entire team.
This success follows an outstanding performance earlier in the year at the BMJ Awards in September, where LBS proudly took home six awards, including (once again) Independent Merchant of the Year. These repeated wins reinforce what we already know: our people make LBS exceptional.
Despite operating in a challenging trading environment, we continue to outperform both the market and our competitors. These awards are a testament to the effort, resilience, and commitment shown by every member of the LBS team.
